averaged 45 mpg driving the major routes around sturgis/deadwood/spearfish canyon and around custer. glad you got your mileage up now you can enjoy the rides. ride safe

Take the dynojet out they are mileage killers. Get a Yost kit and run the economy needle. You will get 45+ cruising and have great performance. If you want to get more sophisticated have it tuned with a sniffer on the dyno. You should get 45-48 cruising if it is set up right. Too rich causes other problems like oil dilution and fouled plugs.
