Fuel Tank

My parts book for 2011 shows that the EFI tanks for that year were the same part number for FXDL, FXDWG ands FXDB.

There is a cheaper mod you can do that lets you keep your current tank and console. The fxd in my opinion has one of the coolest consoles of all time.
I didn’t like my speedo sticking up in no man’s land either. I got a bracket from an 08 XLC and put it on my 07 fxd. Still bar mounted but brings it down nice and tight.

One more point— if you do change tanks you reuse your current speedo and indicator lights. Will mount right in the street Bob console.

Also, the FatBoy tank was a 5 gallon tank. I always had short legs on the group rides. Them Baggers and their 6 gallon tanks.
