LED fuel guage warning and hint
The instruction drawing is WRONG. Read the instructions, do not follow the drawings as they will have you switch 2 wire colors Grey and Orange.
Hints
You can cut off the old plug under the tank [ at the guage side] if your not going to re-use it.
Make a note as to where each of the 3 color wires went in the 4 bay plug. [ one is left open]
The trick part is the wording is not real clear as to what to do with the "long" grey wire.
It goes under the console to the Speedo plug.
Remove the plug, find the blue [ looks like a small square, but it is a long plastic pin] pin pull it out and then remove the yellow wire. Fold it over and tape it.
Insert the Gray wire. bit of a bitch, but make sure it goes all the way in. Enough so that you can see the metal end on the plug end.. Stick the blue pin back in.
Bingo your done.
Last note
I have a 2" tank lift , started out with a full tank [or pretty close only a few miles] takes a bit to get the last few to light.
My last one [ on the right] has not lit yet.
