Just borrow the 1008 daytona twintec from my friend to replace the stock ecu on my 2000 fxdl has custom chrome 5 speed kickstart kit installed.
Daytona twintec said their ecu shipped with 0 cranking revs but its still not work. Althought the electric starter is very light - easy to start with the 1008.
Anyone has experienced this before? Should I change something more?
I have the exact same ignition on my Wife's 04 1200 Custom! So I pulled out the setup instructions. MODE - 0 multi spark disabled, 1 multi spark enabled, 2-7 not used. Twintec and Dyna TC88 ignition unit are made for CRANK POSITION SENSOR trigger. There is NO 0 REV SETTING. SO, you have exactly 2 Options. 1 - leave it the way it is, looks cool but useless. 2 - change cam cover to a 1999 model with a NOSECONE IGNITION.
Many years ago, someone on this forum was inquiring about a kickstart mod on his Twin Cam. It was determined by a number of folks that the kick start won't spin the engine over fast enough for the crank position sensor to read the flywheel notches. Just my thoughts and memory.

There is but it's not a accessible through the switches. You need the programming cable.. As the DTT tech indicted the modules are typically set to 0 revs but someone may have set this one to something other.
I found contact to you at V-twin forum from some older posts.
Hi, I purchased used TFCI2 and i received info from Daytona they don't support it anymore which means i can't read map from the bike and i don't have any .dat file that i can start with - can you support me with any .dat file that is for TFCI2 module? I have a dyno on my own so i can fine tune the bike later on - just need a start somewhere
