Congratulations Razzdad. I picked my FXDC up on Friday. Sorry to hear about your drop, but the key thing is that a. you didn't get hurt and b. no real damage to your bike. I did something similar with my Sportster; that's when I found out the value of an engine guard. Being a slow learner, I learned the lesson twice.

I just got my 1st Hary a 11 Super Glide and with thee ole saying not if but when you lay it down. I drove it home the day I bought it in a bad rain and 30 - 40 knot winds, no problem.
Last week I had a lady in her soccer mom van cut right in fornt off me and There started the christening. The only damage to my baby was a bent shifter lever. (LUCKY). I fared a little worse but nothing broke.
I tried changing the old shifet lever got the retaining bolt off and it wont budge can I carefully widem the gap on the lever with a screw driver or something to put the new one on?????

Please help
