First off, l am a novice when it comes to working on bike. I decided I would attempt installing the new tuner and air cleaner myself. Seems like everything went on without any troubles.
However, I got everything on and now the bike wont start. It cranks over, but just will not fire. On the old air cleaner there was a sensor that plugged into the back plate, but it looks like it really didnt connect to anything, just an empty plastic housing. But there is no where to connect this sensor on the new air cleaner, could this be my issue???
Dobeck TFI......Actually I just went out and plugged that sensor into the original air cleaner and back plate and tried to start and same results...so definitley not it. I double checked the fuel injector connections, battery, fuse for fuel pump, fuel line, and that the dials are correct on the tuner, still no joy????

Don't think it will help but you should slip the old conection off of the OEM backplate and put it on the end of that plug so the plug end is not exposed. It just slides off the OEM plate.
