I failed to lock the left side saddlebag on mu Switchback and it came off. It was destroyed, cracked, scratched and gouged. I never found the FLD hard bags to be all that well designed. As replacement I ordered a set of Viking 32L Baelors.

The latching mechanism functions as designed. I simply failed to place the lever in the fully locked position. The stock bags do rattle a bit, not the best design.
