My fuel gauge decided to stop working on my 2006 dyna, did the tests on the sender unit in the tank and that seems to be working fine, checked all the wires for continuity and all good their, did the test on the gauge with a spare good battery and nothing, so bought a good used one (seller said its working fine) but still the same ? its not hard to test a fuel gauge, just black to neg and yellow to pos, nothing just the light comes on, so tried the orange and the same thing ? tried both and still the same just the light, am I missing something here ? or is the used one buggered as well.
