Anyone have any experience with these shocks? Ive been running a set of 12 Drag Specialities shocks. Recently Ive started having some issues with my lower back. With the Drag shocks Im feeling the bumps in my lower back a lot more than I used to. Im looking for better shocks that are going to provide a better ride. I was looking at these, but before dropping almost a grand on a set of shocks Im looking got opinions on them.
I loved my Ohlins on my Street Glide, but I'll likely be going with Fox on my Dyna. I spent $1600 on remote reservoir Ohlins and was happy with them, even had them dialed in and installed by the pros. I pulled them off and sold them when I bought my Dyna, and replaced them with $350 13" Progressives. In my opinion, the Progressives are 90% as comfortable. That's probably not a super popular review, but it's what I found to be true.
Side note... Fox has reliably been making fantastic suspension for dirtbikes/ATVs for years now, and I don't foresee any issues whatsoever with them not being able to rebuild/warranty their products. So far every review I've seen of Fox shocks on Harley bikes has been fantastic. That's why they're almost assuredly going to be my choice when I'm finally ready to pull the trigger
