Man I’m glad some people like Progressive. I’ve run them before and I have never been impressed with a set of Progressive shocks. Generally way to stiff even with the preload adjustment on the softest setting.

x2. Progressives I never could get dialed on my bagger . Best thing I did was swap to Ohlins.

OP trash the 12", 13" are definitely the way to go.

Like Fox, American made and the best customer service you will get. Like Fox they have been around a long time and are not going anywhere. Both are big in the off road world. And they’re American made if I didn’t already say that fact, unlike ohlins. Do you really want foreign parts on your Harley? (I don’t)

I like US made parts as much as the rest of us, but to use "foreign made" against a company like Ohlins, (arguably one of the most premier and reputable suspension companies in history), is a bit odd.

The ONLY knock against Ohlins I've ever heard was the price, I've never heard or read a single negative comment about the ride quality or performance.

I hate to break it to you, but there are already "foreign parts" on your Harley...

Just to name two biggies:

Brembo brakes- Italy

Showa forks- Japan

There are numerous others...

For many years now, Harleys are "Assembled in America", not "Made in America"....

Default I stand by post

You do you, as one reply, arguably, maybe. PA and Fox are solid suspensions. As to Harley using some foreign parts, they are the manufacturers, buyers have choices, many choose not to.
