Default Ohlin HD044

I'm currently running the Ohlin HD039's , there spent , They were decent shocks but the 13" would have been better.

Considering the HD044 remote reservoir shocks to replace them , kinda pricey shocks , wondering who has went with them and were they worth it ?

Aren't your Ohlins rebuildable?

Worth every penny, but as mentioned, you can have yours rebuilt if you want to save some cash

They are , I had them rebuilt by a place that said they could do Ohlins , one is leaking already and they have never felt right since they serviced them , same place has done a great job with Fox shocks ?
The Ohlin dealer says that a rod is probably bent and they can be fixed but I'm only $250 away from a new set at that point. They are HD039's so there the 12" shocks and I want to go with 13" , I could get the HD022 , the feed back I'm getting on FB is people raving about the HD044's that are running them , haven't been getting much feed back here.

There are actually quite a few posts and threads on the 044s.

Look in the Touring subforum, and the suspension subforum. You are not going to find what you want in this General section

They are hard to beat, especially when you also do the front cartridges. After getting the shocks set up properly, they are amazing

Thanks I'll take a look in that subforum .

I have GP cartridges in front so I'm pretty good there.

I agree,I have them and the front cartridges, world of difference.
Not just a better ride but also better handling, that said I have front and rear True-Track stabilizers ordered for even more improvement.
