1998 Dyna Wide Glide (FXDWG)
My bike has a bent frame that can not be repaired. I have a complete bike with several new components. Which bikes will my motor, transmission, wheels, etc., fit? As time allows, I am thinking about using all the parts to complete another bike. Will the parts I mention only fit a Dyna??

To swap everything easily, you need another Dyna frame from 1999 to 2005. A Dyna Wide Glide frame is the only direct, bolt-in fit for all your parts. A standard Dyna frame will work for the engine and transmission, but your front end will change the handling.

After your change, you should go to your local DMV and have the numbers from the replacement frame atached to your title. I've done this procedure several times. It might be possible to have the numbers changed by a Peace Officer on a DMV form, but that depends on the state that you are in.
