They worked very well on Evo's, not sure about bigger cubed bikes.. Lot more options out there..

Seriously, tough to beat a Pro Pipe. My Stage 2 was making 98/108 at the pavement.

I never understood the whole "Thunderheader are too loud" thing. I'm not trying to be tough or contrarian, I don't think mine are THAT loud. I mean at WOT, sure, but that doesn't happen a lot. I asked FuelMoto about doing a different pipe when they tuned my bike, their thoughts were that any increase would be so insignificant that it wouldn't be worth the money.

Loud is of course subjective, speaking for myself:

One thing y'all need to remember is that compression also drives the loudness of the pipe. A low compression motor is not going to be near as loud as a high compression motor with the same pipe..
and yes RPM range makes a difference in the amount of sound as well
