HD Quick Detach Windshield Problem Solved
I installed the HD Quick Detach Windshield and love the thing. On my 07 FXDL with a fork bag, I have no turbulence or problems at all. I am 5'9". Must be some combination of the Low Rider, the fork bag, or my height as others have some big problems. Just lucky I guess.
But...
One thing that bothered me was that the windshield mounts a bit in front of the headlight. The slot the headlight shines through is about 1-2" forward of the headlight. So, at night a lot of light reflects back at you.
I picked up this trim ring at the dealer:

And the problem is solved, this trim ring extends an inch or 2 BEYOND the front of the winshield and it's a direct replacement of the stock trim ring.
If you order the windshield, get this at the same time.
