I've been wanting some new brake rotors for a while now and a local dealer has a good deal on polished rotors that you exchange for your stocke ones. Has anyone swapped out there stock floating front rotor for a standard rotor? I would think you can use a regular rotor instead and it will fit. The polished ones they have look so much better then the almost solid front disk.
I installed new rotors from Hogpro with Lyndall Z pads. The bike looks a whole lot better and the braking is much improved. This combination also got rid of a very annoying brake squeal.
I did what dunmore said, they stop better. I'm not lookin for looks, I'm lookin for stoppin power after a stop sign popped up in from of me and I ran it.
