What's the difference between the Superbrace and the Harley one?
Difference in design however MikeyFXD35is correct in that they both do the same thing. In my case the HD unit is not recommended for chrome sliders. The guys at SuperBrace said that shouldn't be a problem but if it is they would take it back (within 30 days). Evertry to return an HD accessory that is not in its sealed original package? Good luck.
put one on my wideglide diden`t notice any difference, and diden`t like the look i prefer more cleaner, so i took off and sold on ebay, but if you think it makes a difference, go for it just remember the forks are supposed to move alittle it reminds me of putting a brace on your knee so you won`t bend it all the way
We apolgize to those who tried to order Monday or earlier today as our site was going through some unexpected maintanance. The site: www.superbrace.com is back up and 100% ready to rock![/align]
Are they really that good? I've never really noticed a flexing or handling problem with my Wide Glide, but I haven't really pushed my bike in the twisties yet.
Do they make the bike fall into the turns better, or stop the bars from wobbling? I've seen a few bikes around town who use the brace.
I may purchase one of these if I know what improvements it will make.
Any information is appreciated.
I haven't got one yet but it is on the list. All sport and racing bikes have them, not by accident. Every bike I have owned had one or I put after my little speed wobble at 85MPH on the highway riding a CB650 Nighthawk, craped my pants. All you can do is hang on and let go the throttle put on on and did 120MPH...no wobble.
No they don't. Most sport and racing bikes have large diameter, upside down forks and a large diameter, stiff axle.
Imo it is a waste of money on late bikes with large diamter forks and axle.

Noticed a difference right away, and cornering is a lot more sure footed, than without. If you don't push your bike through the twisties you probably don't need a brace.
Personally, I don't think it looks better, but it is staying on..................... So is the windsheild!!
Keep in mind guys the older Dynas had the 39mm fork tubes and narrow width trees. The 06 and later models have the 41mm tubes with mid width trees so they are much more rigid & stable so don't be shocked if you don't see as much improvement as an older Dyna or a Wide Glide would get. JMO.
this is true. my older 00 wide glide w/39mm forks seemed to have a nice improvement but mainly for asthetics w/a perfaormance edge over stock was my reason. add upgraded lower front springs, slap on a metz and its a diff. world - sweeeet! [sm=icon_rock.gif]
sb2005.....is the discount going to go on past October? With all this testimonial, I want to get one too, but it'll take me a bit longer to save for it.
Thanks oh yeah...If you can upsize the pict of the 07 Low Rider, you can notice I have 'billet' dust covers. Would the brace go on the top of the dust covers?
It's aircraft grade aluminumn and is a machined and polished part. Doesn't seem too expensive for around $125.
I guess if they made em in china they would be much cheaper, but probably contain lead
