I installed a Superbrace fork brace on my FXDL and was shocked how it transformed the handling. The bike holds a line in a corner a zillion percent better than stock. It was the best single modification I have ever made on any Harley in 28 years of ownership. I see they are a featured sponsor so thought I'd throw in a testimonial. It's the best $150.00 you'll ever throw at your Dyna. If you like to ride and not just pose get one on.
Are they really that good? I've never really noticed a flexing or handling problem with my Wide Glide, but I haven't really pushed my bike in the twisties yet.
Do they make the bike fall into the turns better, or stop the bars from wobbling? I've seen a few bikes around town who use the brace.
I may purchase one of these if I know what improvements it will make.
I read the testimonials on their website and put one on a list of possible gifts the family could get me. The kids all pitched in and bought me one. Like I said the improvement is shocking. It just feels so much safer and under control than stock. I find myself riding through sweepers and having to tell myself not to be stupid, because the bike makes you feel like you are ready for the Daytona road course. I test rode an 07' Low Rider and immediately noticed my bike handled a LOT better. It is a huge improvement in handling and stability.
I have also wondered about the claims of a fork brace.. guess I may have to pony up and buy one... hmmmm.. birthday has passed.. but christmas is right around the corner...

Couldn't imagine spending the money to put a fork brace on stock forks. Yer forks are not made to be with no movement. Fork braces are for extended forks. The flex should come when you hammer curves at 70-85mph.
I must admit I bought my fork brace for the looks.
Iâm not an aggressive rider so Iâm not sure what
performance improvements it may have made.
It looks good, and any handing improvement is
just a bonus for me. http://www.putfile.com/twofishrichard/images/110478
Did it reduce the chatter in the forks when you corner hard? I hear a good amount of chatter if I press the front end on the twisty roads. I do think the brace would have benefits to a lot of front ends, extended or not. Sure, they should flex a bit, but I do not think they should not chatter IMHO.
