They said $13500. plus $290 . shipping and $100. docking fee ??
I said I,d yake it if they would throw in the forward controls . They said only other thing would be 10 % off anything in the store .
I didnt ask abought the 07 custom . I do like that bike also , But I no I would change the handlr bars for sure.
Anyone no of a better deal on a 2007 Dyna low ???
This dealer is out of State and abought 5 hrs from me .
My local dealer has 6 Lows and wont go any thing less then $14900 or so .
Just be prepaired to walk out the door if you dont like what you here.. all of the posters here bring up good and valid points.. in the end its still your money not theirs.. if they want YOUR money make them work for it.. check out their service department... talk with other riders waiting there on their bikes.. or friends that may have used this dealer... your "buying" an overall experience.. sales, service, warranty repair, clothing, parts etc. etc. add nauseum...
Like Distanf2 and Easy said... alot (not all) but alot of HD dealerships have been shafting people on alot of things in pursuit of the almighty dollar..
(insert reason or situation here ----> ________ that equals big$$$$ in the end)
and or have been providing crummy service / repairs.. these stealers are now reaping what they have sewn in the form of lower sales.. and overall numbers.. thus these ****** have nothing but their own greed to blame..
Decesions, decesions, decesions ! Man I was in yer shoes last year, looking at dealerships everywhere trying to make a deal and sales was hot then. Try to make yer best deal, check out all the dealers you can and go for it. The 07's had been selling for 1000 off and 10% in the store for a couple months too.
But there is Nothin like a new bike. Meaning the 07 model. You still got some time, check around. It would be killing me trying to wait.

I still say it's a good price for the low if you are stuck on the low. But if you like the FXDC, look for an 08 as it's considerably cheaper MSRP than the 07 was. So, even a discounted 07 will end up costing you about the same and it's now considered a year old by some. I hear you on the handlebars. I'm getting mine changed tomorrow when I get my service done. The stealers are starting to show their hurt - they discounted the labor for me and are actually, unbelievably, undercutting the Indy I was going to take it to and get it done.
If they won't give you any accessories, tell them to dump that BS doc fee or you're walking. I've done it several times at car dealers and they always end up eating it. It's a total load of dung. Doc fee - couldn't they at least come up with a better name/excuse for extorting an extra C-note from us? Why are we supposed to pay them to fill out the paperwork? Now, when I walk into a dealership looking a vehicle, I ask if there is a doc fee. If there is, I tell them up front I'm not paying it and if they don't agree, I walk. Maybe they should call it "true-coat" and charge a grand for it. "You're gonna want that true-coat, you-betcha". lol
