when I did my pipes last winter, I originally ordered them from the dealership. I cancelled the order due to annoyingly long backorder, and bought them on ebay. pipes+powercommander, shipping, duty, taxes, and exchange came to just under $700.00

The pipes finally came in a few months later and HD wanted a grand for them on their own.

I have been told by Deeleys out here that the price is set once. Now they do have dealer incentives to move stock but I wouldn't be looking for a price reduction. I know out here more and more people are buying cars in Washington state. http://www.ucanimport.com/default.aspxthis is a guide on importing a vehicle into Canada. Look at books and magazines, two prices on them, one for US and one for Canada. At least the price on HD's have drooped every years unlike cars. Its funny to think that we can go down to the States and buy a car that was made in Windsor cheaper. Best thing to do is keep buying in the US and let Canadian retailers know it. For me it is an hour drive to Bellingham HD and if I can save a couple hundred bucks on accessories, its worth it. See the bags on my bike, I just checked the price. HD Canada-$809 HD USA- $649. Now thats crap!!

Know what you mean, in England V&H fuel pak Â£240 ($480 ish) Arlen Ness big sucker billet stage 1 Â£191 ( $380 ish ) . E-mailed V&H you must buy in Europe as the American model is different. Its a familiar story when e-mailing Power Commander. Makes you sick dos,ent it?

Just bought a 5 3/4" Bullet style headlight in the US forÂ£100, its Â£290 even if i buy VAT free from Guernsey. If i was gonna get something like a paint set it would be cheaper to pick it up fromthe US and have a holiday than buy it here.

When it comes to any bike parts I buy them all out of the US. I live outside Toronto and I don't think I have even stepped foot in a bike shop here in Ontario in more then 3 yrs.
I could not justify paying the prices the local dealers or any shop are charging......lately I have been buying like crazy on ebay........the even dollar is a joy!!
