06 and up dyna stuff( lorider street bob etc)should work but you will need gauges and trim and such. I am sure there are some threads in here regarding. Dontcha like the tank? Or just hate the gauges. I like mine cuz its low
I'm planning on doing the tank change out myself. I prefer the Lowrider look. Speedo and Tach in the tank. Plan on spending some pretty respectable money to get that done.

Funny, I just checked on that today....................... FXDL tank p/n 61014-06BHY = $950 (Vivid Black), Speedo p/n 67478-04=$258,
Tach p/n 67481-04=171, Dash p/n 61695-05= $151........ Ouch= $1530
These are HD prices.
Yup, near a grand just for a tank ready to go. I've been checking on eBay to find a better price on a used tank. One of these days I'll do it. I've already got both of the gauges. 'Course folks don't remember that you have to pay for a fake cap on the right and a real one with a gauge in it for the left side. Then buy a dash. I'm sure there's a bunch of other crap that's needed to get the job done right.
I am taking my 07 FXDL tank off and repacing with FXWG set up. I may consider selling the whole set up minus the fuel pump as I will re use it
the risers and idiot lights will be included. The downside for you US guys is that I am in Australia. Tank is black pearl and in faultless condition
Just a thought, but if you plan on using the Low Ride tank you would also need to change the top riser clamp to accommodate the idiot lights for hi-beam, oil, ect.
