Side Mount Plate On Rear Shock
After hearing the great things about the side mount plate brackets from DreamWeavers Pro Street, I went ahead and bought one. I am going to attach it to the bolt on the left side rear shock, as many have done on this forum. My question revolves around moving said bolt to mount the plate. I know that when you install new shocks, you have to jack up the rear wheel, but I'm hoping this isn't the case with mounting my bracket. Can I just take the bolt out, slide the bracket on, and tighten it back down to spec (speaking of, can anyone tell me the torque settings)?
If need be, I can take it to the dealer and have them install it but if I don't have to have a jack, I'd much rather save myself the $70 / hour labor fee (plus get the feeling of accomplishment doing it myself).

OK, quick question, if you use this on a 07 wideglide with the idea of removing theoriginal lisence bracket, howwould you attacha luggage rack. It connects to the top of the original Lisence bracket.Any ideas, I would like to change this out but not sure how to keep the rack.
