[sm=itsok.gif]To remove the reflectors!! mine are finally gone, this past weekend... First let the bike sit in the sun,,, for a hour or so.. to get the front tubes warmed up.... Then spray wd-40, behind the reflectors, that spongy gluey stuff. let it soak for couple minutes. I used a very, very small micro screw driver to pry off the reflectors, The sliders warm and wd-40 they come right off.
There's a high probability that your state requires turn signals to be on a bike if they were on when it was delivered by the manufacturer.
As far as turn signals go, here's a blip from Virginia's code section 360
1. Signal devices are not required on motorcycles; however, if installed, they must operate and be inspected.
The only thing I could find on reflectors was they couldn't be broken or repaired. We have yearly inspections and I haven't had a problemwith the reflectorsmissing since day 1. Cleaner look without em.
Hi I'm from ma, i have a1976 sporster went for my sticker had to buy Reflectors for rear fender both sides and one under plate law up here or fail sticker got my sticker then remove them they didn't look good put them away for next year put 2 way tape on the back of them and stuck flatmagnets on tape put them in a box.until next sticker.
