Snow White Plugs

[:@] I checked my plugs today and saw they were snow white. Iv decided not to continue running the bike until I can get a fuel pak. All I have on it now is stock air cleaner and cycle shack slip on;s , but I dont like the snow white plugs, scared I will burn a piston or a valve.

If you have done the harley download along with what you have mentioned should be ok.

hey snooper, I would say the mixture is EPA lean. Alittle bit more fuel in the mix might help out. Have you checked with info.techlusion.com to see what they may have to help out. I have one of their DFO's on my FXDLI and it seems to have helped out. The cyl. tend to run a little cooler also. The extra heat generated by these newer engines can be a little harse on fossil oils. I also use mobil 1 V-Twin 20/50 inthe engine oil system. ride safe.

White plugs means real lean. Glad It ain't my motor and I'm running it.
Be careful or you will burn a hole in yer piston with it running lean.

14.7:1 mixture will give a white plug reading. It will not burn a hole in a piston either. That said I have no idea what his plugs look like accept a snow white description. Most of the map on the 07 HD will be a 14.7:1 mixture, it would set a code otherwise. And in the areas it isopen loop such as WOT it just might be too lean. But I highly doubt it with just a slip on change.
