I am going to need some tires this winter and while I have my wheels off I would like to have my spokes powder coated black. I like the chrome lip but Absolutly hate cleaning the spokes, I think i've cleaned them twice since I bought the bike....aug 05. does any one know where i can get this done? or is there a company I can send the rim and $$ for the core and they send me the rim i want... kind of like when you chrome your factory rim, its like 400 bucks and you send them your rim and they send you back one theyve already done. I'd even be willing to take my rim off and apart, have the spoke powder coated and relace it...but i don't trust myself enough for trueing it. Not lookin to spend big bucks because at that point I would just get the pm wheels that I want instead.

Sinceno one else has answered: I was looking at a Street Bob in Milwaukee (House of Harley) and they had the rims taken apart and the rims and hubs black powder coated, so if all else fails, call them and ask the sales manager who did that work. Rob I think his name was.

Im going to use HD wheels (hdwheels.com) this winter to powdercoat the rims and hubs. Im sending them wheels complete and they'll break em down powdercoat, rebuild and true for like $300 a wheel with stainless spokes. Seems reasonable to me. Im sure just spokes would be less.
