Default Quick Question on Tuning

You guys with the power commander 3 USB ... when seting your throttle position where does your open read? mines at like 20, 160. I rolled the throttle on real slow and then off real slow a couple of times. Is this about the same as yours or am I screwing it up?

Default RE: Quick Question on Tuning

When running program on my laptop, I have a choice of "Power Commander Tools" at the top. When I select it I get an option of "set Throttle position". When Iclick it I get two windows for "closed" and "open" though I am not certain how it is worded. You can click next to "closed" box and it will reset it to zero. "Help" files explain it and say not to worry about "open" setting. Just reset closed/idle position to zero.
................edit......................
Read your post again and see I answered wrong question. I will look tomorrow and see what I get for full open. But I'd think, as long as closed number is zero and it runs right then open number is moot.

riversnipe ... thanks for responding. I read in their help file about the zero'd out reading and I have that now. At first I never even checked the throttle position and it was reading 4 % thus why I reset it. I read after the fact that I could of just reset the closed easily. Now I'm just worried about that if my full open is not right that the map will send the wrong signals at the wrong time, you know what I mean or?? And I also installed the Accelarotor pump feature and used 75% sensitivity, 15 revolutions and 20% fuel increase. I really didn't notice a 'big change' in the way it rides. Is the sensitivity how much throttle before it kicks in or?? What are you guys using out there if using this feature?

I've started with the stock street recommendations. Been trying a little tweaking, here and there. Trying to figure out why my MAP had no fuel additions(or subtractions) after 5500 RPM's.
