Remove reflector turn signal bolt and front mount bolt rigid plate will slide in between line up and replace bolts. Take your time and be carefullnot to scratch fender. Do 1 side at a time. Line up can be a little bit of a pain if you have some one to hold its easierbut I did mine alone. If you have a fax #pm itI can send you instructions my scanner is down

No need to remove just back far enough to slide side plate in then push back through. You can jack bike to give you more room but I got mine in on the floor

I already have detachable side plates on my 05 FXDI. I'd like to install easy brackets without relocating the license plate. Would I have to rewire or purchase any other hardware to install the rigid side plates? I apologize if I may be hijacking the thread here but, it seems there are some folk who are participating in this who can answer my question. Thanks
