I just installed V&H Big shots, Arlen Ness Big Sucker, and The V&H fuelpac. On my 06 Street Bob. I used the settings that are on the website. The bike runs great ! I have a noticable gain in hp and tq in the entire rpm range. It sounds great too. Every once in a while a hear a small pop on deceleration. I will put some mileage on it and then check the plugs. I believe its a great set-up without the cost of a SERT and a dyno run. Just my opinoin. The set-up cost $771 with shipping for everyting, installed it myself in a couple hours.
If you plan on doing any major mods to the motor, just bend over and ger the SERT, It may save you money when all is said and done, but thats just my 2 cents of course...
I have the PCIII USB. It's a lot more capable than the Fuelpak (also does timng and rev limiter), but not that much more expensive. I got mine pre-programmed from Fuelmoto.
Speaking of rev limiter, my pcIII from fuelmoto was supposed to be set with higher rev limit aswas the number 10 map from powercommander. I tried both so far and both of them and the stock ecm with no pcIII shut off at 42 mph in 1st gear.
Maybe there is an issue withthe 08 super glide ecm. Power commander doesn't actually list a model for 08 yet so I bought one for an 07.
