I just installed the Easy Bracket Saddlebag brackets an hardware on my 06 FXDC. Super easy an work great. Just wanted to let anyone who might be thinking about getting them that they are worth buying. Lot cheaper then the stealer detachable bags.
Very quick to put on and take off the bags and the only thing left behind is the docking post, which doesn't look too bad and if you're really careful, it can be used as a bungee tie down when the bags are off.
I just got the ones for a ridged mount back rest, but I talked to a couple people that got the kit for the removable backrest an they seemed happy with them. Didnt look to bad they just stickout a little further them mine did .
If u get the wrong ones ... do not try and adjust the holes with a dremel ... they are tough ! ... guess how i know
I took the 'nickel' covers off my struts when i eventually put the right ones on ... imo it looks great ! and was an easier fit. They work a treat for traveling especially with the handle thingy for carring the bags off the bike.
