Just wondering what kind of mirrors you guys went with after replacing your stock ones? I'd like to go with an HD brand mirror only & really like HD's bullet mirror & profile mirror w/ slotted stem. Recommendations? Likes/dislikes?
I know you want HD but I thought I would share myexperience. In the shop I found some Kury's I liked, got em home and mounted then decided I didnt likehow they sit on the bars. So im off looking again. Funny how mirrors can really change the looks ofa bike.
I went with Kury magnums, and yes...I didn't even install them. They were NOT the right mirrors for the FXDC with stock bars imho. I would definitely stick with HD, as imho the quality is much better than the Kury's I bought.
just ordered these....they should be in on wednessday...i'll tell you if i like them once i get them on, they have my skull theme and have a mirror that should go well with my bars!
I've got the same mirrors expy has but I have them on my t-bars. Looked a little strange when I first put them on but it didn't take long to grow on me. They are good quality mirrors, I don't care what anyone else says. The visibility is great. They Kuryakyn guy tried to talk me into magnums but they'd stick out way too far on most dyna's I would think. I'm happy with my choice. I saw a similar mirror in the Myrtle Beach Harley shop but they had a bubble mirror on the ends for blind spots.
