LePera Silhouette Seat

This seat looks pretty good, does anyone have any experience with them? Hard as a rock? Comfortable? POS and not worth it? Looks like it could be a rock on a long trip. Looking for another solo on my '04 Superglide and this one caught my eye. Don't feel like spending nearly $300.00 on something that would be a total waste.

I have a BAR Enterprises solo along with a Mustang. Looking to part with one or both and need to find a replacement.

I had one of those seats on a different HD model but your assessment is right. It looks good, but speaking from experience, mine rode like I was sitting on a board - it was as hard as a rock - even on short trips it was too uncomfortable for me.

I have a LePera Cherokee. Good looking, well constructed, not great for long rides, THE MAMA refuses to ride pillion on it. After several thousand miles it broke in to my butt so that I can do a 500 mile day on it. 600 miles ......... hurt! I chose it over the Silhouette because of the back support the Cherokee offers. The padding in them is pretty close to identical, so maybe my observations will carry over.
