I dont know if this will work or not but what if I put the bike on its side and put it inside my dodge durango.
Have never done this before. I hope I dont get flammed to much. LOL
Thanks, Dirico1266
How is this possibly going to work? A bicycle barely fits in the back of a mid-size SUV!
Even if it fit (maybe after the entire front end and rear wheel are removed) how are you going to get it in there? Lift then rotate 90 degrees, then just slide it in? The thing weighs over 600 lbs. Then which side would you rest it on??? On one side you'll crush the exhaust, on the other you have a big primary bump.
I finally got my harley to phoenix. I ended up getting http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=42709
I had to put it all together myself but the trailer itself made it 3000 miles going 65-70 pretty much the whole way. Kind of scary when you know there is not alot holding the axel together except for bolts and nuts on each side. I have to say I was impressed.
Anyway, I can ride more comfortably year round.
Thanks for all who replied to this thread. It was very helpful.
