Would a set of new Vance and Hines slip ons, Baffles and mounting hardware delivered to my door for$215 be adeal that I should look into? Factory pipes on 07 Bob are to quiet to hear shift points when riding withothers and I need to do something. Slip ons is the best optionI've found as far as money(second child on the way money is thin).Would I be able to hear my bike well enough to shift with just slip ons? Would anything eles be required or just mount and ride?
my father in law has some slip ons on his dyna, and they are loud as hell. he also has it bored out and itscarburated but i bet they will still sound great. and as far as i know, that sounds like a good price
No! Get cycleshack slip-ons at www.halfmooncycles.com for $150.00 they sound awesome, look good and are excellent quality, no baffles and **** to worry about, just slip em on! That is my opinion, I have them and love 'em!
Is there anything as far as jettign that needs done with the cycleshack slip ons?
Uh, you have a EFI bike. No such think as jetting, that's for carbed bikes. You might need a re-map. I would trythem out and see before plunking down the money on a re-map.
The V&H slipons are a little more money than the Cycle Shacks, but I think they look a lot nicer. They also sound amazing ! I have them and I absolutely them !

As stated above by Jay, u don't need jetting, a remap is the question. I found after much query on here and with HD that remap with JUST slip-ons is not necessary, in fact, not a good idea until u get a hi-flow A/C I ran my cycleshacks w/o remap for 1000 mi before I changed A/C no problem, checked plugs, no problem. You'll get a sh!iload of opinions on this issue, this was my experience, but take it or leave it. good luck![sm=biker.gif]
