Default Shift Linkage

Looking to change out the stock shift linkage on my 07 FXDWG. Being that I'm deployed I don't have access to a service manual to get the specs. Anybody know the size linkage required?

Added the bike to my profile. Looking at a few different upgrades also. Right now there are a lot of boxes in my garage sitting next to it full of new parts!! LOL!

Should be aroung 13"-15", I have a superglyde, switch to fowards, you can play with size, repositioning the shifter up or down. check ebay, I got a three skull linkage to match my mirror stems for around $50 with all hardware.

For a cheap fix until you get a little more sure on what you want, get a short piece of 5/16" threaded rod and use that along with the ends on the stock linkage. You can play with different lengths and looks if you have mid or forward controls. Threaded rod is cheap, about $6.00 for a 3' length at any hardware store. Once you get the look/length you want, you can go shopping for a more custom unit. Take a look at roadnames.us who did my custom shifter linkage. Vance is a great guy to work with.
