Default Dual Disk Conversion

I've been thinking about converting my front single disk to a dual disk setup. I've seen the kit the moco sells but am thinking about piecing together a kit myself (since I have lightning star rotors front and rear already and don't necessarily want to change). So my thoughts are that I need to buy another rotor, a caliper, a dual brake line and the master cylinder (I have the fork already...just getting ready to get it chromed).

I just want to make sure that:

1. Both front rotors are exactly alike...(that I can buy another front lightning star rotor to use).
2. Both front calipers are alike...(that I can buy another front caliper just like my other one and get it chromed).

Or are the parts different in some way. The parts manual shows different part numbers for each...So I guess that answers my question.

calipers are different.
rotors are the same if they dont have a directional pattern
make sure you get the dual disc master cylinder. i think its a 5/8 bore as opposed to a 9/16
other than that its easy and works a lot better than one disc

11/16 for duals. At least that's what is on my bench waiting to go on my Low Rider.

Thanks for all the replies. Looks like I'll have to get a caliper made for the right side. I looked up the info on the master cylinder bore and it is 11/16" indeed. From what I can tell the dual brake line from a 99 up will work (at least 99-03).
