Sorry it takes me a little bit to reply. I've been very busy. The headlight is on. It is mounted at the bottom of the shock. No fender for now. If I can't stand it, I'll mount a small fender real close to the tire.
What else... I bought the springer off eBay. It is a used Harley front end from a mid-90s FXSTS. I added a Progressive shock. Price would be hard to figure. Total cost was probably in the $2000-2500 range. I did it a little at a time, and swapped for some parts, etc. I'm pretty new at wrenching on bikes, but so far I've done almost everything myself. Forwards, slip ons, air cleaner, springer... And so far nothing has fallen off! Ha!
If any of you guys need specifics, PM me. I will post finished pics this week or weekend. I even got a tattoo of my bike with Ghost Rider on it while in San Diego! I'll show all soon.
