Hioefully nobody bought them on eBay from American Classic Motors. No telling what you'll get from them. I've already got burned by them.
nope - took the advice of another forum member and gave Phat Performance Parts a try. I placed my order Thursday evening, it shipped the very next day and is arriving today (Tuesday). Highly recommended!
I put the 412 11" shocks on my Bob along with the Progressive front lowering kit and as mentioned before, my fender is even with the top of my rim so I'm guessing it lowered the bike about and inch and a half. The Danny Gray Big Seat probably lowered it another couple of inches from the stock seat. Sittin' low now!
I got both shocks on the bike in under 25 minutes and used the torque settings that "smileyelite" posted above. The rear of the bike looks so much better (to me) and the short ride I took was a night and day difference - I never really realized the stock shocks were so harsh.
Thanks to everyone above for their help. I was worried doing this without a jack but it wasn't too bad (having someone to push on the rear of the bike helps).
