Default Fatbob Lights

Does the US version have both lights on at the same time ?

Mine uses one side for dipped beam and the other for full beam ! Is there an adaptor so both work together?

Why have a twin headlight if only one side works at a time.......[:@][:@][:@]

Yes, both lights are on at the same time(both low & high beams) on the U.S. bikes.

I don't know anything about an adapter so both will work together on your bike. I gather from your user name you might be from Scotland and therefore have a British version Fat Bob?

It does seem silly to not have both lights working at once, sincetrying to be conspicuousis so important for motorcyclists.

Thanks Glazgowboy

You guessed right I'm from Ayrshire in 'sunny' Scotland .

You from this neck of the woods originally ?

It's a stupid European law that thinks a bike with two headlights might fool someone into thinking its a car thats farther away !!!![sm=headbang.gif]

I reckon it must just be a different electrical relay or something . I will see if my dealer can get hold of it.

Many thanks

Ah yes, "sunny" Scotland!

As you probably thought, I'm from Glasgow. However, I moved to the States, with my family, when I was a "wee" boy, so I speak like a Yank.[&:]

BTW, how do you like your Fat Bob?

Fat Bob is great so far but still running it in which is a real pain . Big change from my old 1340 fat boy !!

Started to think of changes to make already !! What is it about harleys that do that to a person ??

Thanks for the post and let me know if you need any "slice sausage or tattie scones".

PS You don't happen to know how toload a signature picture in ..... easy steps { Thick as mince when it comes to computers !! }

All the best

You need to change the img to image in your signature and then it will work.

I hate that crap about only having one light lit whilston dip, i had a jap bike like that and everybody kept telling me my light was broken because they only saw one lit, it totally spoils the look of the bike, just ride with full beam.

With your sig pic have you tried to put more then one picture up there, i did, and that red cross appeared instead.

I use photobucket for the photo, i clicked the second address i think its the direct link box copied should appear in yellow then type that should do it.
