Looks good! I've had one on back order for almost a month. I'm getting one from the Drag Specialties Fat Book that is similar to yours but has a cut out in front. My plans are to use it to cover an oil cooler / fan combination.

Aren't you completely defeating the object of fitting an oil cooler by covering it?

He said he had an oil cooler/fan combo.

Hey AmphibSailorcan you post a pic of that combo? I'm curious what it looks like. Do you think the chin spoiler will cover it up completely and allow good airflow with the fan?

I'll post a pic as soon as I get it installed. The cowling was supposed to be delivered to the dealer on the 18th and then shipped out to me. I have to mail order everything. ...can't afford the prices the Korean's have to pay for HD stuff.

I can't take credit for the idea, because I got it from a guy off one of the forums. He said the combination worked out well.

With any luck, I'll put my pics up in a couple of weeks. The pic below came from http://www.bamph.com/rmh/oilfan.htm

Harley's are all about image and customizing to our own tastes...I suppose your bike is still stock. Even so, how many parts on your bike were actually made in America?
