I've been buying and selling on ebay for years. I've tried to stay from doing either out of the country just because it's easier to not deal with it and less likely to get screwed with no recovery. But, it certainly can be done. Just make sure whatever funds you were sent get cleared before you ship.
NO! THEY HATE AMERICANS!!!! PERIOD.... they are nice until they get what they want from you,, after that your a piece of NOTHING!! FRANCE SUCKS!!! been there, done that, and delt with there bullshit... they think with there *****,
I live in the U.K, unfortunatley! and yes the French also hate us!!
As regards to you guys, I would give my right arm to live in the States, everything you build has quality, if it's made in the U.S.A I will buy it
I've had a lot of stuff including a brand new paint set shipped from the States with absolutley no hassle at all.
All the hassle happens when our greedy government want Value added Tax, Import Duty and anything else they can think of to stitch you up and stop you getting a reasonable product for a reasonable price!!
I've shipped things to France with no problem. The only wrinkle may be that the buyer might ask you to declare a lower value on the customs form--otherwise, he will get screwed big time with an importation tax. Depending on what the item is, you may get a lot more for it from an overseas buyer. That's been my experience.
I think the French are a bunch of a******s too but I also have to say I love the Brits! I've been to England many times and always have a great time and the folks mostly quite friendly. Besides, if you lived here, you'd have to drink s***ty beer.

Dude ... the grass always looks greener ... but it's usually not ... I love living in the UK and I've lived in the US, Australia, Thailand, Canada and NZ (Home) ... they are all great and all have problems I wouldn't say any is better than another, I have chosen to live in the UK for the last 10 years and am not leaving anytime soon.
i'm in ireland, and get stuff shipped every so often. usps, rather than ups.
only for that harley parts would be too expensive.
even for some brit bike stuff it works out cheaper.
