Does anyone here have this paint color? I here that as it gets older the paint changes and takes on a unique look. Is this true for the other denims as well? How hard is it to keep the paint looking good?
I know lot's of questions, thanks for any response.
My new pipes will be in this week, I can't wait to get my bike home. It's been a long 2 weeks waiting for it.

saw one atmy dealers shop. can't say that I really like the color. in showroom, it looks like flat red lead-based primer. That being said, I jokingly call my pewter denim paint job---primer grey!!!

I agree it looks like red primer, I like it because it's different. My choices were between the pewter and the crimson. I want to add some custom paint and I think the crimson will make a nice background to orange and yellow colors.

My SB is black denim and it's really easy to take care of: in between washes I just use Windex followed by Harley Gloss. I could only see it weathering if you didn't take care of it. Having said that I've only had it for 8 months sooo... The only think about the denim is I miss those rainy nights in the shop waxing...[sm=bs.gif]

Yeah and when it does weather a bit that will look cool too. I saw a pic on here of someones bike,he made his battery cover look weathered and it look really good,the paint had rough edges and stuff. I like all the Denim paint jobs.
