I want the 105 duracell FXDC. My local dealer has an excellent price, but since those models are allocated by MoCo he's not sure if he'll be able to get his hands on another one.
Does anybody know how I can get him one to sell me? If I have to go to someone else, I'll have to pay thousands more.
They're a fairly big dealer, they've got the 105 editions in almost every model on the floor except a SG.
Thanks.
My dealer does this quite often so they tell me. Why would you need to find one for him, he is the one selling you the bike afterall. It might even be worth your while to sniff around and find an out of state dealer that has one at your asking price.
I agree, I shouldn't have to.I kind of figured he's playing a head game.
You all confirmed my thoughts. To get what you want, you do what it takes.
Thanks for the opinions.
Seen a whole gaggle of Duracell bikes at Sauk-Prairie HD in Wisconsin, they've had people come in fron the east coast to buy from them, really good dealer.
Gilly
Each of thefour local shops near here (Greensboro, NC)had one, but I think there's now only two left after I got mine. I've been told they were each only getting one of the 105th FXDCs and they are bumping the prices up a bit as a result (typical [:'(]).
Dealer called yesterday. It's a done deal. It should be here around january/ febuary.
So far the price is still @ 14,300. I'll do the paper work tomorrow on payday.
Thanks all.
