Thanks for all the kind words.
When I first got the bike I liked how it rode but I didnt like the looks.It was a bone stock FXD silver paint,silver aluminum covers,silver cast wheels,silver motor,ect...
Now after a bit of work and a few bucks I just love it.
To answer a few ?s. As I said its a FXD not a wideglide,I cut the neck and added 10 degs rake.
I like the dry primary,less chance for leaks also.

Did you have any trouble mating the springer to the neck, bearings?

Buttman,
No the springer bolts up to the stock neck but I had to cut and move the neck out 1".The springer hit the tank bolt.It's a 6" over Paughco springer.
