Great job! It's only a matter of time before HD catches up with the rest of us and makes the dyna springer a factory option! In my opinion, the coils on the springercompliment the exposed coil-over shocks on the rear. Really nice ride, bro. I'm not normally a fan of the raked out and stretched fronts, but yours looks awesome. Props and kudos!
By the way, what kind of saddle bags are you running?
-gorilla
gorilla,
I run only one small bag on the left side.I made a S.S. polished brk. to bolt it on then mounted my tag and tail light to the bracket on the back.I think I got the bag from J&P Cycles. Its a sissy bar bag.
Shred,
The belt drive is from BDL.Bolts on no fabing.I did have a problem with starter grinding after about 1000 miles. So I got a stater jackshaft aftermarket and no more grinding.
How does the springer feel when your riding...is it a big difference from the stock forks? Are they rouger or maybe don't dampen the bumps as much? I love the way a springer looks on the bike...and I agree that on a dyna they do compliment the rear springs...I'm wanting to do this to mine this winter....it's just a bunch of the guys keep telling me how tricky a springer is to ride, or how I've been spending too much time reading Iron Horse...lol...
