I don't find the BRs to be that loud under normal riding... however, early morning start-ups, I do try to roll out into the cul-de-saca little before firing up.

Tattood, would you say the ThunderMonsters made the pipes sound deeper or louder. Was considering getting a set for my BR's. I like the BR's but they "crack" a bit more than I would like. I'm looking for a deeper tone, more of a "rumble" I guess, like most Reinharts I've heard.
It did make it a little deeper. I still can't get the sound that comes out of those Python Staggered Duals on my wife's bike. That's a nice deep rumble.
