Default Wide Glide Tank Question

I'm looking to pick up a tank bra for my 2003 Wide Glide. Here's my question. The HOG site indicates that there's a different part number for 2004 and up tanks. Did the tanks change that dramatically in shape on the trailing edge between 2003 and 2004? The pictures on the parts page show different graining texture and stitching. Could that be the difference or are the tanks truly that different?

Default RE: Wide Glide Tank Question

Harley changed the frames in 2004-2005, so I would guess the tanks changed also. It's the same with seats, look at any Dyna seat, it's usually good from the mid-990's through 2003, 2004-2005 were different and 2006 on up are different still. I think the tank got a little longer with the frame in '04.
