Great looking bike! How do you like the seat?
I like how the seat shows the paint on the rear fender, but to be honest with you, it pushes me too far forward. I find that I end up sitting on the very back of the seat and have to reposition myself often. My Sidekick Custom is much more comfortable.

Jake it's time to seek help from parts-a-holic anonymous...she's looking mighty fine though...how long does it take to polish?
The 12 step program doesn't work, been there, done that on my last Sporster...LOL! Polishing is another part of the experience that I enjoy about owning and riding my Harley. Using Pledge and Windex, the cleaning goes pretty quick actually. Your bike in the Black Denim looks unbelievable, it's gorgeous!
That is one good looking bike. Ibought an 08 FXD a month ago and hope that someday I have my bike looking half as good as yours. My wife is dreading the thought of me and all of the parts catalogs laying around the house.
Initial plans are to change out intake, exhaust, wheels, new seatand who knows what else from there.
Jake,
Nice to see you went with the Brawler seat...SWEET! It's a great seat. I went on a ride last week to CT from MA (1.5 hrs each way) & to my suprise I never for a second got uncomfortable in it. I bought it more for looks than comfort in the 1st place to the long-term comfort was just an added bonus!
As far as the skulls go, if I had your bike I'd "skull-it-out" to the bone (no pun intended...LOL!). Bike looks SICK Bro! Best of luck with it!
Ian
Hey all, thanks for the compliments on my bike, they're much appreciated. We all know that sharing our bike in a sense with others is part of the overall experience.
This isn't my first Harley, so I'm very familiar with what goes into making a bike one's own (so does my wife..lol). The other day we went for a ride and a guy says to me "You must have x amount of $ into that". I told him that my wife was standing right next to me so I couldn't answer him...she and he both chuckled, but he was right on the money.
We've all sacraficed one way or another to get the bikes we have and we've all done something to make them our own. You all have great bikes too and this is a great place to feed off of one another, to get ideas of what we can do to our rides.
I've owned some metrics over the years too, but I have never seen the pride a guy puts into his Harley go into a metric. It doesn't mean that those that own metrics don't, I've just never seen it where I live.
And Ian, the bike actually came with the Brawler, I bought the Sidekick Custom for some two up riding with the Mrs. She doesn't ride often so we sacraficed the overall comfort for a seat that goes well with the lines of the bike. As far as comfort goes, my 5'9" frame fits the Low Rider well, but the Brawler pushes me just a bit too forward and I have to sit at the back edge of the seat. The Sidekick however, feels just right.
I also know that if I wasn't doing the job I'm doing overseas, no way could I have afforded to have the bike I do. Again, thanks for the kudos all.
