No.....I weigh 220 Lbs, and I have 7/8 inch clearance (1 5/8 inch when not sitting on bike). The shocks came pre-set from the factory on the middle adjustment, and have NEVER bottomed out. They are the 11" long Progressive 412 Heavy Duty shocks. This is over railroad tracks, etc. I don't hit dips, etc. going fast, and will even lift out of the saddle, if I can't slow down in time. Do I need to? Probably not, but it just seems like the prudent thing to do. Unlike alot of others, I don't change bikes....this bike is mine for life. It's paid for, to include all the work done. I'm really happy with the way she has turned out.

Again, I appreciate all the nice words. I know it's not super fancy, but it is clean and I tried to keep the lines smooth. I think I was pretty darn successful in that regard.

Looks better everytime I see it. It's just a badass tough lookin' ride. You should get a license plate that says Hoodlum on it
