Default Rear Tire?

I need to get a new rear tire but what tire do I get?
Should I stay with the stock tire or a other brand tire?
My bike is a 1999 FXDWG.

Just switched from HD Dunlop's in the F and R to the Metzler ME880 and I feel that the Metzler is a better handling tire and I can lean much better in turns due to the tire being rounded vs. the square look of the Dunlop.

The stock Dunlop isn't a bad tire. There are better, and there are worse.

I prefer Avon Roadrunners. With the skinny in the front, the Roadrunners have much more stability on irregular pavement. Especially that grooved pavement when they start tearing the street up.

I once tried a set Michelin Commanders. Worse tire I'v ever use on any vehicle. Slippery when dry, downright dangerous when wet. I got rid of them long before they wore out.
