If I lived on the Salt Flats and only drove in a straight line I might consider it. But we have curves here in Georgia.

Boss hoss bikes used to come stock with car tires on the back wheel.My friend has one with the car tire on it and he cant wait ta get it off.....and put a 230/60 x 15 Avon on it so he can corner with it.

yep, I tried it. Side walls are more flexible than a scooter tire. If you aren't running extra air pressure in them, the tire will flex in a corner and make the bike feel like it's slipping out from under ya. It was a Winston SAMS tire on a 15" rim, 1980.

no,no & no bad idea, if you want it for looks & you don't ride it fine. but as was said before car tires have a mutch more flexable sidewall than bike tires. plus look at the profile of a car tire, now imagine going into a corner & see what your contact patch is going to be, also look how fast the transition from straight too a corner is going to make your bike feel like its falling over.
