Looking to replace the factory headlight on 2007 street bob. Any suggestions on bullet style headlights as far as price, mounting/wiring, and how well they work at night of course. Anybody want the factroy one?

I didn't like the looks of the stock headlight on my 06 FXD either, it is only 5 1/2 inch in dia.. so I bought one from drag specialties that has a dia of 6 1/4 inch and then had it black powder-coated so it would look stock, the bigger headlight looks like it really belongs in that bigger front end.. cost about $100.00 if I remember right another $10.00 for the powder coating..

I would buy the HD 5 3/4 Bullet light if I were going that route. I actually like the look of the stocker on my bike.

Cheers,

Tom

I didn't mind the light it was the placement that sucked. So, I moved it out.

Got the 5.75" HD Bullet on mine & love it! I was really undecided between this one & the 4.5" Bullet, but glad I went bigger. Here's a few pics...

Didn't like my stock light, either. Went with a visor trim piece as a (somewhat) cheap - $34 - temporary solution. Now I like it and will keep it that way.
